The next version of SmartPlaylist will be called v8.0, as it will only support iOS 8.0 or higher. It will support the iPhone 6 plus and eliminate some bugs on the iPad.
The long press to start playing a song seems to be broken in the current version. Music only starts playing once I skip to the next song. Are you aware of this?

No, I am not aware of that. It works as before.
